There is no clothing label stating if its linen or not, but it feels like linen (it has that immediate cooling effect when your skin touches it). My husband is a 32" waist and the 2XL fits perfectly. I am a sewer, and this is WELL SEWN. Beautiful piece of work. Material is a little thin, but the dark colour helps. Packaged well, shipped out fast.
